This past Sunday we finished our series on “God’s Blueprint for His Church” based out of the book of Ephesians. Here are some thoughts that I have as we leave this amazing book.

1. God is pretty smart - to think we know how to do church better than him is really pretty foolish.
2. Jesus has to be our target – If it becomes about anything else we will fall miserably short of God’s goal.
3. We as leaders of the church must help you be like Jesus – and then we need to let you do it!
4. Holiness is not an option – anything that doesn’t look like Jesus is dead.
5. There is a power in the Holy Spirit that we have not tapped into yet – It’s a scary and exciting thought!
6. We must stop listening to the lies of the deceiver – stop being paralyzed by the past, live in the freedom Jesus purchased for you!
7. Put on God’s armor and fight for your King! – there is great satisfaction in fighting for something that is worth fighting for!

Paul said he was praying that God would give us Spiritual wisdom so that we may know the wonderful things that we have because of what God has done for us through his son Jesus. That is my prayer for you also.
